surprise

So, the other night Jared and I were leaving a friends house when we got a text from a friend in Alaska. Sam was on his way to Iowa and was passing through Boise in a couple hours on his way to SLC. We insisted that he and his friend stay the night with us and I am so glad they did! It was great to catch up on all things Alaska and to hear what was new in his life. Sam had his very cute lab, Jack, with him and the dogs loved playing with him. The car was jammed packed with luggage and musical instruments (he and his friend play in a bad. It was amazing to see the dog hop up and lay on top of the luggage in the car. It was such a nice surprise and we wish him all the luck in Iowa in his pursuit of law enforcement!
