60th Anniversary!

We headed out to Oregon last week for Jared's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Jared's mom, sister, and our nephew came down from Alaska to join in the festivities. Kayle and Ryker had not yet met Ky so it was great that they got to see her, although Ryker was more interested in playing with his cousins his age than with baby Ky! We did a lot of hanging out with extended family, went to the park, went bowling, and just plain relaxed! Kylie did get overwhelmed by all the new faces and was very reluctant to go to anyone but me, Jared, or Kayle. We nicknamed her Barnacle Baby by the end of the week! I must say the most funny thing of the whole week went a little like this (we were getting ready to play cards, our most favorite pastime with family):
GGma: "Kayle, do you like to play Phase 10?"
Kayle: "Yes, I do!"
GGma: "Well, that is too bad cuz we don't have it!"
Okay, so maybe you had to be there, but we laughed SO hard, so all week we were asking each other if the other person like something and then saying that's too bad cuz we don't have any! Congrats to GGma and Grandpa for 60 years together!!!! What an amazing thing!
